Help ID please

This is my friends' pike of which we have no idea what it is.
Sorry for poor quality but cam wouldnt cooperate.
Anybody here know what species this is??

it is around 1 year old, maybe a bit older.

ty for the id. my friend is from canada and the reason he asked me to take care of his pike is that hes afraid he wont be able to get such a fish in his country. i guess that problem is not likely to occur?
