help ID please

I saw this at a LFS over the weekend, and used the stickies but still can't say for sure. I believe it's a tropical or gator gar any conformation would help.

Gator gar-100% sure.

confirm gator gar; looks like it may also have some slime sloughing issues, but hopefully that's just minor and due to transport as opposed to plecos/slime-sucking--
