Help ID please

Just saw my female marble with this injury, I think it's a bite mark from my marble male but I just want to make sure it's just that. The male is a small 7.5-8" but he is fully mature. Thanks in advance for any input.

Damn! I have seen some crazy bite marks, but that's bad!

Sure its not a heater burn? Bite marks usually are on the back half as the male is chasing the female to try and breed.

Do you have any water circulation pumps within the tank? Looks like it may have been cut on an impeller blade.

All my heaters are covered though, and there is no decor in the tank, just bare bottom.

Just a gash keep an eye on it should heal fine
