Is that the Johanna "Anashua Red" that came in with the recent peru shipment? Looks alot like the johanna I previously got from them, just with a redder dorsal streak

Not sure. It looked like a juvi Johanna to me but I want to be sure
Someone just gave me that pic to ID. I asked for better pics but nothing yet and I'm too lazy to go down to see the fish. LOL

Anyway, I'm waiting for my C.cincta to come in.

Owner smsed me to go down to help him id, but I haven't had the time to take a look. If those are the ones from JZX, then I'm pretty sure he got the right id from the supplier (ie, they are johanna). Wish I could have gotten those instead of the "normal" johanna since they're supposed to have more potential to turn reddish right?

Good catch on the cincta :) I had just decided on a Rio Orinoco setup for my next project before I hard that they were coming in...else I would have ordered some too!

It's a dull red.
I guess it depends on what you like for red
Personally I prefer the normal Johanna for it's red and yellow colouration.
