Help ID this channa

Hi I recently acquired this channa. I think its a juvenile channa gachua. Can anyone help to give a positive id? It was sold to me as a rainbow snakehead.

it look lie gachua to me, does it has black dots at the body?

Yeah it has small black dots on its body.

Hi,

i still think its gachua, some variants have small black spots on the body, especially when young.

But to really ID the fish better pics are needed. AND the fish has to show normal and NOT stressed colours. The decoration of the tank is really not what the fish needs.
Put in some plants, especially floating ones to darken down the tank a bit.
Put in mor hiding places, the more there are, the less th channa will use them, cause he feels always and everywhere secure.

Hi thanks! I'll try and get a clearer pic of the fish. I've got quite a few tubes and caves in the tank already, u just cant see it on this pic. As for the plants I'll still working on that.
