Where the cheeseheads are..
Hey all,
need help to make up my mind :D

the seller claims it to be a so called 'high class leo' ?
is there really such a thing? is she referring to BDs ??
she sent me a pic of it next to a normal leo ( the black one)

is it worth double the price?

lemme know what you think...

Thanks!

one on the left is a leo, one on the right is a heneli, two different species, when you showed us the pictures of ur "leos" i asked if you had pix of the parents because to me they looked like they were a cross breed of the two, henelis will turn black, but not as black as your normal leo. If you want BD rays, get ahold of Mike from H20aquatics

I would only pay BD price if I knew the pup came from Mike at H20. Anyone else and you're really risking it, unless you know them well and have seen the parents.

Right one is deff a henli, how much are they asking and who is selling. I have been looking for one at the right price.

Mmmm.... appreciate your thoughts.
I asked if the seller is sure that they are pure breed , and they guarantee that all their rays are pure breed.
And when I asked if there's any slightest chance that one of the parents has henlie blood in them, she gave me this pic and claims that a henlie pup would look like this.

Well, this leo pup certainly aint albino, could it be leucistic ?

Anyway, how much would a heneli pup cost around?

on the left a Leo , what pet trade name variant it is won;t be clear until much later. On the right...who knows, not a Henlii tho. I have bred hens and the babies are never brown like that so I am thinking some kind of leo motoro cross, looking at the tail and the color, the lack of underside markings etc. The pic right above this post looks more typical for a henlii
This is one of the big problems with all the indiscriminate random breeding that is going on, already it is almost impossible to know for sure what is what unless it comes from the wild.

the one on the right is 100% heneli. Leo prices from mike at H20 are about 1200-1500. Helei are about the same maybe a lil less. Pearls in the states only go for around 900ish from mike as well.

Left leopoldi and Right is some type of hybrid I would say henlei/motoro but like DW said not pure henlei for sure. Also the other picture is hybrid as well. I don't even have to ask but you must be dealing with some seller from Asia for sure.....
