New here, and I'm definitely not a catfish expert - long story, but I just came into possession of several catfish needing a new home and I'm trying to figure out exactly what they are so I can figure out what they need in terms of a proper home. Two fish, one looks something like P. pictus but is 20+ cm TL; the other is a little smaller with a bold lateral stripe (photos attached).
If it helps, the remainder of the fish from the group are maybe slightly exotic, but not overly obscure - sun cat, some kind of pleco, FW angel, couple African cichlids (i.e. I don't think the previous owner was in the business of collecting SUPER exotic fish).
Poor fishes have had a rough week, and would appreciate any advice you have to offer...
