Hello,

I recently bought a 90g tank and acquired some cichlids with it. I didn't really want them, but the individual had no way to place or take care of them, so here I am.

I know I have a pair of kribs but the rest are beyond me. I think a couple are haps, and there might be 2 black Acei's.

You're help is appreciated, thanks

Picture 2 background fish looks like a Haplochromis Obliquiden.

I think the one with a red tail in the second pic is from lake Victoria.

The Victorian looks to be a species 44, as for the first cichlid, a type of PseudoTropheous.

Oh, and also, the blue cichlid is, I'm 100% positive, a placidochromis. I was gonna pick some up a while back but got into predatory fish.

3rd pic is a C. moori a.k.a. blue dolphin cichlid

Sorry but it isn't. I am fairly certain it is a young: Placidochromis sp. "Phenochilus Tanzania" aka Star Sapphire. (You can notice a few lighter spots on it.)

As for the rest well I will look at them and see, but I don't have much time right now.

Sorry can't get to the rest. Try looking here: http://www.cichlid-forum.com/profiles/index.php

1st pic is an l. trewavasae.
2nd pic, background looks like a thick skin hap sp 44 as already mentioned, foreground looks like a copadichromis species (maybe c. geertsi, maybe a female borleyi).
3rd pic, foreground does look like placidochromis (as ikevi has mentioned), though I'd say it's one of the Electra variants (might be p. electra undu, my lfs has them in pretty often), background does look like a p. acei tanzania (the black variant).
4th pic, foreground is another trewavasae.

the fish in the 3rd pic looks a bit like Placidochromis electra. Please correct me if i'm wrong as i never have any experience with keeping them and the body do look a bit elongated. http://www.cichlid-forum.com/profiles/species.php?id=1204

the last pic looks like its from
Labeotropheus family, based on its mouth.

the background fish on the 2nd pic do look like
species 44 as dln78 mentioned earlier.

please don quote my words for it and i'd like to see wad others think

I have electra's, I have Phenochilus Tanzania, the 3 lighter blue dots on the fins scream Phenochilus Tanzania.

And here is a shot showing them before they even start to have any dot... the look just like electras... but when they get those spots you instantly know they aren't. (On this one there are at least 3 on the top fin, 1 on the tail, and one below.)
