That photo is from exotic fish shop. It was supposed to be from Columbia I think. So it’s mala vs microlepis but likely mala. I don’t think they truly know where it’s coming from.

I order from him atleast 2-3x a year. They have an interesting stock at times. But yea....they won’t know.

Lol, well that's good to know someone has ordered from them... I saw he had some aba aba a while back but they were too small. If he gets some bigger ones in I may order that too.

Like kno4te said, I ordered one from them around a year ago that was labeled Columbian Wolf and it ended up being a Mala, but very nice fish though...
