Been really wanting something extra-ordinary. everysince my Electric catfish bit the dust. Was leaning toward a Alligator gar at first but dont want sumthing thats gonna get twice as big as me without having a pond. so im thinking more along the lines of a 125g set up with a GATF my current Common pleco and maybe something else that would be good with the TF. Suggestions anyone. is 125 enough or do i need to get a bigger tank?

I dont want to get a pond until i get my new house. that maybe in the next 3-4 years or sooner. but do you think 125 will be big enough until then???

No, just be patient until you get your new house and then stock it. You don't want to get a fish that will outgrow your tank before you have something you can put it in. Just wait until you're ready and everything would be okay. I just don't want you to waste your money buying a GATF because they are expensive and have it die because you don't have a big enough tank, The Doctor
