Hey all. Just signed up for this forum and I just recently got into the fish hobby about a year ago. I have two new Flowerhorn I just can't seem to identify and the stores where I bought them couldn't either. If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated. I can attach more photos if needed. The red one I believe is a male I purchased yesterday. The blue one I believe is a female and she hasn't grown in size in the six months I've had her.

She is gnna stay that size bc she is a short body fh
And yes they seem nice quality
Male has decent kok size should only get bigger as it grows and in good water quality

I appreciate the help. Another question. They're in the same tank together. Could these two potentially be a match? Or would breeding a short body with him just create ugly offspring. I really like her coloring but it's disappointing she won't get any larger. You're saying the size she is nice will be her max size?

Id suggestva divider between them. Fhs rarely tolorate one another

Looks like they're getting along fine. No need to divide them. She's already in her breeding colors and appears to be full of eggs. Shouldn't be long before they spawn.
