Welcome aboardHi - Could someone assist in Identifying a fish?
I found it in a runoff puddle with flowing water that has been persistent near my driveway (will dry up soon once hot). Put the fish in a tank and now need to determine food and car?
Thanks

Thanks! Out to the store to get someWelcome aboard
Don't know exactly what type of sunfish that is but definitely be trained to eat pellets.
My guess is green sunfish. Just feed it cichlid pellets like hikari gold. I’d say a 40b would be the minimum tanks size and room temp should be fineHi - Could someone assist in Identifying a fish?

That’s my second guess, I believe the care is the same either way. I had a big bluegill and it was an awesome petI’m leaning heavily towards it just being a regular bluegill
Thanks! So weird how they seem to end up everywhere even in sessional puddles. Wonder how they spread.I’m leaning heavily towards it just being a regular bluegill
color is probably washed because its stressed. As said, definitely some sort of Panfish.Hi - Could someone assist in Identifying a fish?
