Help Identifying a fish.

I didn't realize itwas different until it was in the tank swimming with the rest of the rummynose tetras I had just purchased. Heck , I don't the little fish realized it either. This little guy was swimming with them for so long and the only reason I noticed is because he eventually broke away from the shoal of 7 others after he got the hint.

I will try and snap a picture but its 1.5" fish in a 180 Gallon aquarium. so I will describe to you as best as i can and hopefully someone can lead me in the right direction. I can see why it was able to sneak by as a Rummy nose tetra. It's body is the exact same shape and size roughly. The only difference is that it's all silver including the tail , no black and grey like the Rummys. No red mask either and the top of its dorsal fin is black.

so once again - NO red mask , NO black or grey tail on tail . exact same shape as rummy except the top half of the dorsal fin is black. Hopefully we can figure this out !
