Help identifying this fish (morph)

Looks like a red devil Dempsey hybrid to me. But, it looks awesome. I've never seen one like it. Looking forward to updates

I'd have to agree with tvbbnumber41... looks like a fading RD/Midevil/Midas with hints of Jack Dempsey - the subtle barring I see, which also could be from the Midevil genes if correct...

really interested to see how this lil guy turns out! definitely different!

Although it could be a hybrid, the fish in the photo is what a Xanthic morph JD would look like.

Looks up gold jack dempsey yours looks similar if it fades as it gets older much like a golden jaguar cichlid
