Got this guy as a birthday present to myself. Was sold to me as a palmas but I really don't think it is.

These are the best I can manage he seems to have claimed my java fern as his and doesn't want to leave it yet. I was thinking a lap but his lower jaw lines up much better with the top than my other lap.
Edit lap below him for comparison I guess just noticed he decided to photobomb
My guess is lap as well, my male has a slight protruding under jaw, but nothing severe. Mine also likes to hide out in plants. The green color can make him hard to spot in the krypt...
Thanks yeah I knew it wasnt a palmas when the driver dropped it off. Just wasn't sure what it was I appreciate the help. I really just wasn't sure because my other lap looks way way different
Both my laps and my endlii who is much to big to hide in plants love hiding in my java fern. Yeah thanks for the help IDing I paid 17 dollars for it so the misidentification worked pretty well in my favor. Considering he's about 7 inches
