I got this little guy from my LFS a year or two ago. They had no idea what it was - freebie fish! It is around 3 inches (compare to green cory sitting above it) and hasn't changed in size since I got it. It hides during the day and is very docile. It has greenish and black horizontal stripes. Since it stayed small, I was hopinh someone might know what it is. I keep it in a FW 29 gal. with a bunch of other small fishes. Being nocturnal, the cat is difficult to catch in a picture - i hope these do it justice. Does anyone have any idea what it is? Even a genus?

I searched for about 45 minutes up and down the planet catfish site and got a big goose egg. Im not sure what he is but he has green lazer cory colors and almost hoplo style whiskers. But his mouth is not a small circular mouth, instead it is a wide mouth similar to that of a bumble bee catfish. Im not sure what he is but he is very neat.

it look like a pimelodella blochii

i agree with guanl

I agree it looks like a Mystus carcio, but it seems too big to me. Maybe M. vittatus? I really don't think it is a Pimelodella blochii, from the other pics/descriptions I've seen.
