Help if you know any about flower-horns

If had my flower horn for almost 3 months the first 2 moths I noticed he was growing alot and not he not really grown Mutch that I can tell oh he was about 3 1/2 inches when I bought him now he about 4 1/2 but he / she hasent been growing from what I can tell , what's the problem or is this normal ?

Flowerhorn can grow exceptionally fast and they will be full grown in about 1.5 -2yrs. A lot depends on the breed, nutrition, water quality and tank size.
A FH in a large tank by itself and fed often in excellent water conditions will show exceptional growth. Conversely, underfed and poor living conditions equals slow growth rates.
