HELP Internal Parasite?

Ok...so my husband went out of town and now it looks like our flower horn has something weird going on. He's in a 125 with a jack and red festa and a couple of plecos. So...when I looked at him this morning he had a large growth coming out of his anus. I saw pictures of other worms and such but nothing like this. It is red in color and has veins, I want to pull it out but for fear that it is his intestins or something (not really). Please can someone help me out! That is what you would call a prolapsed rectum.

I would keep the water really clean and add a little salt. Also keep feedings light and soften all food before giving it to him. I can't stress enough to keep water clean!!

It should receed back into body on its own. You can give it a little push back in when it starts to go back.

Goodness thanks so much...hopefully putting him in a sick tank and watching his food will be able to help him. Is there any way to prevent it from happening again?
