Hi guys,
My silver arow was fine and as jolly as rain last night, then i did a water change, and went to bed, now he is all messed up and his eyes are scratched. Do you just thnk he is stressed by the water change? i did add my divider as my male severum beat up his wife....AGAIN... so he could have swam into that?? there is nothing that could of hurt him, no bogwood, no sharp rocks, only plastic plants and round pebbles.

Hmmm..he might've been trying to avoid the male severum and ended up bouncing off the glass.

One thing tho, when you did the w/c...it was dechlorinated and same temp, right?
 
The male severums wason the other side of the divider, as i stated, and yes this time i did make sure it was the right temp and i always use dechlorinated water :D, i think it was a new spray bar i added, as i have removed it and he seems to be happier, and is now swimming alot more, but still has all his slime coat peeling off, any ideas?
 
Seems to be in stress. Crank the temp to about 82F and add some aquarium salt. Keep the light off or use a moonlight. Hopefully this will help the aro calm down. Also blackwater extract should help, but since you have the other fishes in with him, that wouldn't be feasible.
I would suggest to put him in a hospital/quarantine tank..but if he's already stressed..the move would make it worse.
 
All my other fish are SA, so would it matter to them if i added black water extract, he seems to have clamed down now, and he is also feeding again, fins have been lifted off his body, and he is poing his nose where it doesnt belone acording to the severum lol
