Help! IT Datnoid.......

Can someone help me with this........... My IT datnoid is turning all black, Hes super healthy always being the first one to eat and shows no sign of sickness....

Ps. The datnoid is around 6-7 inches, will he eat 2-3 inch datnoids?

Did you change any conditions? Lighting, decor, food? Need more info.

Most likely you changed something in the tank. If not, then it's "unstable". Datnoids are usually like that, you just gotta have the patience to wait again for them to become stable. As long as he still eats, then he should be ok.

As for you smaller Datnoids.. No, he will not eat the smaller ones. Hope that helps.

Alot of indo's are like that. They may go unstable, even if you do nothing or change nothing in the tank.
Alternartively, just to make it more confusing, an Indo may go unstable if u add tank mates or change decor.
Indo tigers are a Gamble.
I have 10 IT,s , 3 are stable all the time, 24/7. The other 7 are not (probably range between 30 - 70% stable)

Cant really h elp you out, after 5 years of keeping dats, indos are like this.

Its is good that your tiger is superhealthy and active. Its a good sign he is not stressed out or uncomfortable.
