HELP! jardini fin torn!

My jardini about 6inch tore his fin a couple months back. I tried using melafix but that didnt work too well. Anyone know what remedies or medicine would treat this? or is it for life? thanks in advance.

It will mend together again. Don't worry. It's common practice for some serious hobbyists to cut and tear the fins between the spines so the tails grow back bigger. This is done for cosmetics and looks. So if that can heal I'm pretty sure ur jardini could. It just looks like it's just torn and there r no damages to the spines.

Frequent water changes with a bit of salt should do it.

use stress coat and add salt and keep your water top notch and it will in in time. I had something like that happened to jardini before.

Just leave it be, it will heal naturally.
Might take a few weeks - month.
