i have a 150 i got off a buddy like 5 or 6 months ago its been doing fine since i set it up. now out of no were i here water pouring on the ground i look over and theres a solid stream of water coming out of the top corner so right away i ran to the gragegot 2 pipe clans and clamped the top and middle anddont know what to do next. so do i take the fish out and reseal the hole tank or is there a quick fix to fix the corner. o ya it s a old oceanic glass tank with no center support the guy said thats how they made it back then.

lower the water level, let the portion dry well, then just put silicon on the part

Reseal the hole tank it will be better, I had the same problem with one of my older tanks and I did a quick fix, all that happened was about 2 weeks later it leaked again but this time had a bigger area.

If it was me id kick my buddy in the coinpurse for giving me a 150 with no center brace, THEN I would drain and reseal just for the piece of mind

Piece of mind is much better than doubt, reseal it

I would without a doubt empty it and reseal it. I would add a center brace as well.

if its an older tank it doesn't need a center brace at all

but it may need to be resealed of course - as is the case here.

older tanks had no center braces but were made with thicker glass than todays tanks.

they were better anyway IMO.

my braceless tanks lasted me almost 20 years unresealed

I doubt whether my more modern tanks will last that long..

empty it and reseal it.. it will take a few hours to clean and reseal then a day or two for drying time (maybe longer depending on temp.. follow the instructions on the tube)

id rather have my fish in tubs for days then have them on the floor for an afternoon...

ditto! its not hard to do at all. resealed and put center braces on some older tank i had recently. didn't tank very long. you should go with black silicone too, it looks pretty sweet. :D
