What do you feed yours?
I have had one for 6+ months now. I have mainly been feeding on sinking carnivore pellets. which he normally eats lots of. Recently i moved around the tank a bit and also have taken out 3 gold severums(roughly same size as him), a ghost knife, 2 tandanus, 3 pictus and 2 mystus catfish.
Mainly since ive taken out the 3 sevs, I dont see him feeding anymore. He doesnt even go for the carnivore pellets at the moment.

Should I be worried and should I try some live feeders, such as mollies, guppies or tetras?

Yep, one of those guys. I didnt get to see it, but my roommate told me he ate today. So thats a good sign.

Is there a risk using neon tetras as feeders? I would have assumed they wouldn't have disease as they are being sold as normal aquarium fish?

Oh man you're pretty lucky to get it to eat pellets mine won't have anything to do with them. Mine mainly eats frozen bloodworms. But I will also feed him chopped night crawlers, ghost shrimp, an feeders fish. If the neons are the main source food you're feeding them I'd keep them quarantined for a while before you use them.
How big is your? Those carnivore pellets must have made him grow pretty fast. Mine seemed to be stuck at about 4" for about 4 months.

Its hard to get a clear measurement of him. I would say between 12-15cm. He looks to be just under an inch wide.
I guess crisis averted. He is back eating carnivore pellets and frozen krill.

I am not sure how old he is. He was a trade in at my LFS. A customer took him back because he was eating all of the neon tetras. His loss, my gain.
