help... lighting for my 75 gallons...

hello everyone,
im confuse about the lights to be use on my 75 gallons... im planing to buy 4 pcs firefly fluorescent daylight 40watts.. is this ok? my plants are low light...

If the plants are relatively low light this should be fine. This is only 1.6 wpg, but on larger tanks this unit of measure gets skewed. Depending on the lux of your light you should be alright.

What's more important than wpg is how many lumens the lights put out. If you could somehow measure the PAR towards the bottom of the tank, that would be ideal

a 40 watt bulb over a 75 gallon tank is way less than 1.6 wpg. i have 112 wats over my 75 and i grow everthing evn low light. the system is the Hagen GLO 48''. it comes with 2-56 wat t-5 6700k bulbs. it also cost less than $200

if the plants that you gonna put is Jave fern, anubias and moss then your fine with that lightning.
