I live on Maui and it is difficult to find this fish. I have wanted an Arowana for a very long time. If anyone knows where these are sold on Maui or where I can find out, it would be much appreciated. It will be my very first time owning one, so if you know what equipment i will need and around how much it will cost that would be great as well. I will be keeping it in my room upstairs which can get quite hot, if anyone has any suggestions for this that would be great as well. Thanks!

If you can't find it locally maybe you can check a LFS like Moanalua pets or someone. To bad you can't carry em on the plane anymore. I would see if someone on oahu can send it on an interisland flight or mail it to you. I'm pretty sure there's a lot of 808 peeps willing to help you. good luck

if you want i should be heading over there sometime in july
just shoot me a pm if ur interested

Smaller one, easy to transport and you can grow it yourself. There were 3" and 5" Aro's at Coral Fish for $20 and $45. I might have said this before but they looked kinda sickly. Like they had tail rot and ick.
