Hello MFK,

I had a small jardini about 3 months old. and I really wanted it to be colorful fish or even enhance its color.

Any advice for me, please???

Thanks,
Robin

have good water quality, comforting plants, decor, hiding places. give it a big variety of diets. not just 1 or 2 kinds of food. feed shrimp, bullfrogs, hikari sticks, pinkies, ever nature pellets, crickets, nightcrawlers etc.

What if i use plastic plants for decoration? will it affect its color?

I used to be told by a friend of mine that i should cover left or right side of the tank in gold if i want my fish gold color? is this true?
or you meant something else?

thanks,
robin

good filtration, high turnover. good aeration. feed high quality pellet, ie cichlid gold. empty tank means more space to swim... soild black ground, either black, white or blue. i like a dark jar so always go black...

or u can go the koji route and all of the above + a few rtg for tankmates....

What if i put black sand to cover the ground to the my jardini tank right now. does it make the problem to the fish? or what should i do if i 1 2 make some decoration with sand and plants or wood without having my aro in trouble?

i really want my arowana in gold color. what should i do?
