My Male motoro 10"+ will not let my female motoro 7" rest. Every time she goes to rest on bottom of tank male attacks her topping and biting. She is starting to look beat up. And she has to constantly stay in the upper water column? What should I do? Male is also mature I think he wants some! is she to small?

Lowes ceiling tile area you can find egg crate light diffuser as a divider. Female should be ready around 1.5-2 years old. Everyone's fish is different so it's unknown exactly. Some say size some say age. I think age is the best was to say.

i agree with the others, seopprate them. you can use anything that will fit in your tank that has holes in small enough that the inhabitants wont get through. if you use three sides you can make a " ] " shape and brace it with pvc pipe and tie wraps so that it doesnt move. if you make the side panels long enough the other rays shouldnt move the partition much.
