help map turtles dieing

I have had two juvenile map turtles die the same way. They get soft shells and discoloration on the bottom of the shell. Then stop swimming and hang out at the edge of the water on the floating area and die. I have been feeding reptomin baby turtle pellets. Have a uvb and basking bulb and basking area. What are they dieing from and what can i do to keep one alive?

Water, air temps? Filtration? Where did you get them from? Tank size?

sounds like calcium defficiency of some kind or a bad source.

I think you got them from a really bad source, and all the care in the world probably wouldnt save them. Try to find a local breeder selling a yearling.
