so i wanted to buy a new tank but realised i dont have he cash, so next best would be a new filter, any suggestions, i am looking for good mechanical filtration for a 220 gal tank, my budget is R800

you cant buy much filtration for a 120$....what size tank do you need the filter for ...you said a 220 ...?

try a used filter on the net ......were i live i use kijiji....

i already have a 55 gal sump that turns my water over 11 times, i was just wondering if i could get something that could help polish my water as it isnt completely clear

well then i would say an aqua clear 110 should suffice just throw some carbon in there and it will be cristal ...aswell they are great for cleaning the surface of the water of any debris
i think the go for about 80$....

i dont know about those i have not tried one..... but i wouldnt rule it out ...if youve heard good things

Do you have uv-sterilization. They are reasonable on ebay.
