I am about to get me acquire another pike been years since I had one I am leaning towards the flame red color of atabapo1 but have always like the pattern of the Cinta.any big difference in behavior of these two?

as juveniles they will be the same, when they become adults cincta get much bigger and look as thick as salami lol. both have a food aggressive behavior like most pikes. i had parrot fish with my huge cincta before i sold them to a pet store with a 1000 gal pond

Thanks for the info does one hide more than the other? which is more prone to HITH

My LFS has a couple Atabapo I with bad HITH. It's the only example I've seen locally though.

Cincta are a lot meaner and get a lot more mass and size. image.jpeg I have 3 pikes together and so far there fine. The cincta beats on the other
