I too have a large group of vieja purchased from cota. Initial plan was to keep them as a community but if I have a nice pair forming I may just keep the pair.

I have never had any problems with aggression. A little chasng , some face offs, but no lip locking,or damage.

Thanks! I have a lot of chasing. They also seem to be after the robertsoni specifically. Any of the 3 similar sized thorichthys species tend to chase them. Especially the meeki. Just don’t want it to get worse.
