I would like to get a pleco for my tank but Would like some advice on which one would be a good fit for my tank.

And before anyone says anything I do plan to get a larger tank.
I would also like max size and growth rate info For the following types that I know I can find:
common, chocolate, spotted highfin, royal tiger and rubberlipped plecos.

most a the store are little 1.5-2.5" the rubberlipped ones are >1"

THey woul;d be starting in a 20 gallon tank and willl have the following tank mates to (lengths are current or whats at the store)
birchir 3"
1.5"gold goruami
2" blue goruami
possibly another top water that maxes around 3-5" like an upside down cat or Opaline gourami again the stores are 1-2" now

I know the royal need wood thats not a problem and know they need meaty foods not just algae any thoughts?

I think the spotted highfin are always cool. They get large, but are really mellow. Decent algae eaters too.

I believe that the max size is 24" but I haven't seen one pass 16"

sorry I don't know them the stores did not have them listed by L#'s the highfin is possibly a A gibby(L-083) do you have any good pics of one?
