I'm letting three go. I guess my silver aro and tsn are off the list, them two is my fav's!! But just to get opinions I'll leave them on. Its a 240 gallon set up that they are going in. I'll have to upgrade again I know, but for now its what I'm working with. So help me out. Give me your reason for choosing.

tiger oscar. 12"
red oscar. 12"
clown knife.18"
channel catfish.18"
TSN.14"
ID shark.9"
silver arowana.19"
parrot cichlid.5"
Florida gar.10"

I would pick the 2 oscars and the channel because they are the messiest fish in your tank in my opinion

lose the parrot and Id and then get one tank for the silver and shovelnose, and another tank for the knife, oscars, channel, and gar.

the florida gar, dont find the them too appealing. looks plain compared to a aro

channel cat, better suited for ponds imo

personally i would leave the fish that look natural together, as i kinda like a biotope look in my tanks

I would lose the oscars + cat, as lib pointed out.

i would get rid of the parrot because they look silly. i would get rid of the red oscar because the tiger looks a little better and lastly the channel catfish because they get big, ugly and messy. all of the other fish have some interesting characteristics.

ditch the oscars and the channel cat. the gar, aro, and tsn are definitely the fish you need to hold onto.

Is it a true parrot cichlid or a hybrid parrot? If it's a hybrid, lose it. Keep the oscars if you like them because they make great wet pets w/ tons of personality. Lose the ID shark because no matter how big your tank, they'll outgrow it. Lose the channel cat, just cause they don't do much but eat.
