I have been breaking my brain trying to figure out how to get accurately measured amounts of prime delivered to my system.

I would like to build or buy something that I can setup to deliver 30ml of prime once powered up. Maybe a dosing pump or something. Right now with all the drains and refil lines ran to the tank, the only thing stopping automatic water changes is the prime, which has to be done by hand.

Right now the drain and fil lines are opened and closed by hand with a ball valve. I know the exact amount of time it takes to fill and drain +/- 2 minutes. So if I could figure out how to get prime delievered to the tank by some elctronic or mechnical means, I can use 7 day timers and solenoids to automate weekly water changes.

I have attempted to use a venturi valve to suction prime into the tank, and that didn't work. All the dosing pumps I have seen have no way of setting the amount to be administered. I read the 24 water change the chem way thread but that would require a storage container and RO unit.

Any ideas will be fun to try.
