Gold nugget or mango pleco =)

Which one you think is nicer when full grown

Gold Nugget, they retain their spots whereas Mango's lose most of the yellow in their fins.

Why not both?

If I could I'd get a mango, because I already have a spotted (L-14) pleco, but none that are green. But with my current plecos I don't think either a mango or gold nugget is workable.

So, just boils down to personal preference and what you have in the tank already.

Flip a coin and if you dont like the result choose the otehr pleco. I personally enjoy my L18 if that helps

Have you seen them as adults? Either way you'll have plenty of time to decide.

Both are very nice fish although ive always liked the L-045 mango (magnum) pleco. A nice olivey green to a browny black. The yellow sets them off nicely. Ive kept L-18 nuggets upto a nice size and done well with them although they do seem to be a more sensitive species these days
