Well the other week I lost my GT and I now have an empty tank that I want to fill, The tank in question is a standard 55 (48x12), and I was thinking of getting ether Grammodes or red tiger mota. I know the mota would need a bigger tank in the future just can't find a definite size, I have read 75, 90 & 120 as the min for a pair so whats true and how long would it last in a 55?
I have herd Grammodes can be keep in a 55 for life so I'm leaning toward them but I'm not sure, I really love the look of the red tiger mota so I guess what I'm looking for a push in one direction or another lol.
What would you do? If you have any other ideas throw them out there.
The tank was originally to be just the GT and maybe some drifters but like I say I lost him (internal parasites) so I'm open to other ideas for a good pair or single specimen tank
As of now it's just housing my 2 striped Raphael cats to keep the tank cycled until I make up my mind, and it's driving me crazy every day I look and see nothing as the cats just hide in the caves or log and sleep all day.

I'd go with the grammode. or try another GT.

Thought about another GT but none of the lfs here stock them so I would have to special order it and would rather get something else if it's going to cost me that much in shipping.

sorry about your lost. another GT would be cool. petsmart has them all the time if you really like GT's try growing another out
