Alright, now I've narrowed my choices down to cichlids. I'm thinking about a Green Terror, Texas cichlid or a Red Devil in a 75, and a Freddy cichlid (Parachromis friedrichsthalli) or Red Tiger (P. motaguensis) in a 90. Can someone help me decide which fish to get? Does anyone think they have a better idea? I'll be honest-right now, I'm leaning slightly towards one of the Parachromis species-they're more, you know, BADASS than the others.

I have a feeling the RD will sooner or later beat up your other fishes. :screwy:

If you want a single fish for the 75, def the red devil. For the 90 I'd go with a rtm, but as far as I know they tend to hide a lot and aren't much of a "wet pet".

thats not completely true , as soon as i walk close to my tank my male rtm wants off with my head, lol , and my bro's rtm that is pushin 12 inches is friggin insane always smashin the glass losing teeth all the time.... if you were to get a pair of rtms make sure the female has a hiding place that the male cant get to or he will kill her if she isnt ready to lay eggs ...

Going to go against the grain here and say the Green Terror for the 75g. Love their coloring - green scales, purplish body with gold or white trim. Gorgeous fish.

If your gonna keep a solo fish, then my vote would also be for the trimac. But if you are hooked on one of what you listed... I'm partial to the freddie, from that list... though, the the RTM would be a close second.

A lyonsi pair would not be a bad choice either, just my two cents.
