So i bought a new bichir today and i dont know what it is the shop said it was a long fin but i dont think thats is name hes real small like 4" and if any of you guys know snails or plecos you can help me with those too.

thats a senegalus.
nice fish.
one of the most active bichirs.
btw,long fin is a variety of the senegalus which has long flowing fins.
but yours is just a regular senegal.

The plec is a normal 'common' plec.

The senegalus could possibly be a juvie long fin, since their fins develop with age/size.

The nostril length also tell me it may be long fin.

It looks long fin to me...You can see the extra fin material on the top spines...Reg bichirs have way less...Nice pic up. They are more expensive than reg bichirs..

Hi-fin senagalus is the most expensive and the most rare at my place. I only have one. How much do you bought it?
 
Nice Pickup... That is Def a LF senegal... I've been searching all over for one...still never found one under 100$
