Hello Everyone,

I need your help. After taking into the consideration of piranhas and a fire eel, I have come to the easy agreement that that will just not work. So I am now left with a new 110 gallon that will be in my possession in a couple of weeks. I currently plan on getting a Fire Eel, as well as moving my two 5 inch oscars into the tank.

The question:

What else should I put in the tank to fill it up?

Maybe clown loaches?

Your help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Nick

What are the dimensions of the tank? 2 Oscars and a Fire Eel will fill it up pretty good. I think a school of Clown Loaches is a good idea. I wouldn't add any other larger growing fish (CLs are larger growing obviously, but it takes so long).

Make sure the eel is eating before buying it. Lot of the fire eels are collected in Asian with hook and line. Sometimes the eels won't eat and eventually die after 2 to 3 months. They don't eat fish and worms are the choice of food. Ask the store to show you that the eel eats. Good Luck!

bichir, juvie gar, jade goby, fei feng. just my opinion. :D
