so i have a spare 29 tall, that i plan on splitting in half (with a divider) and having my corn snake on one side, and some other slithery friend on the other.

i want to get it as a baby, and have it not grow over 4 feet. it has to be somewhat docile and look cool haha

I was thinking something along the lines of an Eastern King snake or some other kind of king snake. Or a Hognose snake.

I have an elaborate set up planned for this guy, he wont be in a tubaware like some people have....

btw, i own a Ball Python and Corn snake right now, I just want one more haha :)

Thanks!

my personal rule is one snake per enclosure to prevent the spread of illness, mites, etc.

also, snakes (that love their privacy) can often be stressed into not eating by the presence of another animal cruising around their territory. (1st hand experience)

the 29 is a good size for a small adult corn, you should stick with that imo. i say "small" because most are in the 3-5ft range, but i had a corn that was just over 7ft.

if you split a 29 in half, you'll have a hard time giving each snake a proper thermal gradient that they need.

if you really want another snake, i suggest you pick up a cheap 20long or bigger tank from craigslist.
