Hello, I've been wanting to post this topic but I keep on forgetting to.. Well now its finally done...

The two fishes are obtain via buying feeder fish from my LFS.

-Fish A was different from its fellow feeder carp so i decided yo keep him. He is a pig and loves to eat. He has a red tail that is not shown in the photos.
-Fish B I have no intention on keeping, I buy them for my monsters but I am very curious to what type it is...

I was about to say that fish A was a convict cichlid untill I got to where you said that it has a red tail which I don't recall seeing on a convict. It is some kind of cichlid.....Acttually,I think that fish B looks more interesting to me and I would keep it for a while and see what it looks like after it's put on a few inches in length.

I do think that fish A is a kind of tilapia, I get them sometimes with my guppies. I can't remember the exact name, but it is aggressive and grows very very big and is one of the more inexpensive kind. I just had one in the tank recently, I was going to grow it up but then I decided to feed it to the jar.

You could be right pmannn, the first picture had me thinking convict but the other pics don't really resemble them......Nice pleco in your avpic by the way. What kind is it?

Ok.. hmm.. i know one lead for fish A only.. the fake spa fish--- Chin chin fish but i have no idea scientifically what type is it... I've had Fish A for around 8 months now and its in a small half foot tank since forever!! So if its a tilapia I believe its stunted to death by now... he is eating very very well and not fat at all....

Fish B is the biggest feeder of his kind i ever got... fish B has barbels as long as the length from its gill to its dorsal fin... Fish B's scales easily come off... When I feed them to my monsters the scales will surely glitter my tank...
