help me ID this cichlid

just pick this up but dont know what type of cichlid is

can anyone help please?

and also got this fish today sold as feeder fish

1st guess on the 1st pic would be a jag, but the pic does make it hard to identify. And on the second pic, I have to agree with ExoticGreen, it looks like some sort of sunfish without knowing too much about sunfish, myself. I would hold onto it though, it has a nice coloring around outside of the fins and tail....NOT like any sunfish I have seen.

Looks like Jag and sunfish to me as well.

1st fish is a jag and 2nd is a perch. You can catch them in louisiana and other southern states.

I catch perch all the time & they look nothing like that.

First one looks like a Jag to me aswell.

I would say the second picture looks like a Green Sunfish (Lepomis cyanellus).
