Scat is the name of the fish and not the other type of things that the word is commonly used for.
Thanks guys. I picked this lil guy up about 5 months ago with some tin foil barbs. Since I'm a sucker for the odd, I didn't complain. He stay hid in a castle and come out only to eat. I finally got this pic. He's in 75 gal with Tropheus and Kitumba Frontosa fry so I'll have to set up another tank for him since he need brackish water. Thanks again for ID

its a silver scat, they grow the largest of all the scats. They are friendly and can be kept with just about everything brackish. they go well with Mono's and have been known to participate in their schooling.
Silvers, reds and greens can all be mixed and they enjoy the company of other scats. they get HUGE. my local petland had two traded in that were close to the 16-18"
