Help me Identify My Catfish

So a couple months ago i bought a catfish that was called a tiger catfish, i noticed it was a tiger shovelnose but it was over 7 inches and still has dots. Its currently over 10 inches now and still has dots is this common or is it not a tiger shovelnose?

Agree with the ID. Care is ~ the same as for a TSN.
