Ok I have two peacock bass at 6-7inches and I'm gonna move so I was wonder whats the best way to put them in since its a two hour drive....should I put them in a bucket or put them in fish bags...or any other suggestions so I don't harm or damage my bass...member its a two hour drive.

do you have a rubber maid ? just use the bucket... add a air pump to it..

Are you moving them to another established tank? Or are you moving their current tank with them? If the later is so, then you also need be concern with preserving the bacteria colony.

I've found coleman coolers work best for moving fish, you can go a couple hours without any aeration

I recently moved from Chicago to Massachusetts and had 12 medium to large fish (5 in spotted pims to a 12.5 in jag cichlid) in 2 large rubbermaid containers. Each had 2 battery powered pumps mounted to the top and I changed 50% of the water once a day. I added salt and stress coat and did 50% daily water changes. They were in those bins for a week without eating because we had to wait for the movers and I'm thrilled to say they all survived in good shape. Point being, I think your guys should be fine. Dark rubbermaid, battery-operated air pumps (which are always good to have handy in case of power outages) and some stress coat and you'll be golden.
