ok,i think my bigger tank is almost ready for my bass.
i have the temp in both tanks the same.
new tank has cleaner water.
how should i go about this?
just swap them?
bag them then float them then dump?
put in another tank and mix water?
just dont want to kill my bass, they were tuff to get. :irked:
and does a wet dry filter give out enough air on its own?
thanks in advance.

i would put them in a pan or something like that and aclimate them slowly

put them in a container half partly filled with the old tank water. take them to the new tank. slowly add new tank water until the container is mostly full. add bass to new tank. refill new tank.

I do a water change in the old tank a day ahead of time to prep the fish for the move. Then chase the fish into the new tank with the water from the old tank as well as a handfull or two of dirty gravel.... If you use gravel.

do them one at a time, a day apart.

you dont want to throw your filter all out of whack. I would use the same method that chompers suggested.

Your wet/dry will provide plenty of oxygen:D
