im trying to find a site online to order some fish that im looking for, and CHEAP of course. Im looking for:
  • African Arowana
  • South American Lungfish
  • Freshwater Lionfish (this one isn't a big deal if i can't get it)
im wanting to get them all from the same place, mainly so its cheaper and easier. im wanting to get youngsters, so that theyre cheaper and plus the fun of this hobby is actually raising your fish IMO.
my budget is around $100-125 or so. 150 if i absolutely have to. i know thats a little crazy but its my goal. anyone know of a place i can get this done?

any other advice would be nice too. ive only ordered fish once through petsolutions.com and they have great service, but dont have what im wanting.

thanks

You might find it for cheap but i have found 9 out of 10 times the shipping is more than the fish maybe not for an african aro but i refuse to pay $70 for shipping for a fish that cost $35 thats my 2cent

yeah with petsolutions i paid only $20 for shipping. and my order was for 10 fish. it showed up in less than 20 hours and everything was perfectly fine.

With all due respect, one would have to wonder, if the cost of attaining these fish is so important, do you have the funds to house them properly? The tank in your listed set up is already holding fish that will get to be too big for it. Perhaps saving this $100 to put towards a larger tank first would be a better idea.

Good luck with what ever you choose to do.

its all good man. im getting the fish i listed to order as babies to raise them in a smaller tank first. then theyll be moved to the 220 once the current stock is moved into the pond im building. ive got it all planned out, thanks for the concern though

I know that you want them small but I just saw two Lungfish in the marketplace for sale by Wiggles. These two are big but at $35 and $45 they are a great deal.

add them on facebook if you have not they will talk to you..that is what i do for my order im going to get..

Sounds like youve got a plan, but it might be a good idea to at least start construction on the pond before buying fish to take the other fishes place. I learned when building my small pond, it takes longer that you would think. Not trying to say not too, just a suggestion.

Take Karens' advice
