Help Me Out With This.....

My flowerhorn has this weird black markings that showed up little by little on its caudal fin(tail) several days ago.. I really didn't know what it was.. Is it fin rot? (refer to picture 1)

Then just now I noticed a little bulge on the other side of its caudal fin.. This is really strange cause five hours before, the tail was completely fine as you can see in the second picture(I took that 5 hours ago)..

Please help me identify what these two symptoms are.. It is just starting to show some potential & I hope it don't get killed by any disease..

Can you get a better picture of the bulge? Also, he seems wash out from the light gravel. I recommend you put him over a natural or black gravel.

the first pic just looks like some fin splits that are healing up.

I don't think you have anything to worry about.

I see a discoloration (or something) in the 3rd photo, which is probably the best one . . . it looks like no big deal to me, but try posting in the Freshwater Diseases section, if it is a problem, someone there might know

Apparently the bulge was caused by it banging into something.. I was told that it got spooked when my mom was cleaning the floor..
