I love my fish, but there is something missing from my tank. Ive got a lenticulata pike, 5 mono pbass, a juruense and a tigrinus. I want to put something from south america (amazon theme) that isnt too expensive. I tried silver dollars before but they were all killed by my pike. I was thinking an aro, but i want a black and they are too expensive. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

How big is the tank, maybe flagtail? The problem is that they need to get big enough to survive those pbass and pike while not being to expensive, Maybe some of the larger brycons.

you should add a few of midas, some firemouths, one red tail catfish, 4-5 discus and angelfish, and a couple of jack demseys. That would definitely COMPLETE your tank  :woot:
i agree RED TAIL CATFISH like this one

haha good one rook45

The tank is a 90 gal with a 6'x2' footprint (I will be building another tank for the bass).

I like the idea of JD's but I'm a little worried about their aggression (also arent they central american species?) Are there any large chacarins that would work well, that arent fin nippers (dont want my cats streamers messed up)? Im not big into the flagtails.

I ALWAYS feel the same way man, like I'm missing a certain type of fish or something. Maybe your just like me, never ever satisfied with a tank no matter what, ahahah. I'm never satisfied which is why i keep changing my tanks up.

dats are asian..... why not some headstanders.... or some uhhhh.... maybe a silver aro instead of black... pike characin? freshwater stingray? uhhh this is difficult ;)... cahorro?

well what about some green terrors?

I agree with the geo idea. They may end up getting eaten my the pbass though. If the tank is big enough I would also suggest rays or a silver aro (almost like blacks but much cheaper).

All the characicins and headstanders and curimata that eye can think of are liable to eat the streamers or will get eaten by the pbass.
