Hey everyone, Ive been browsing the web a bit trying to find a catfish that i really want, so i have a few questions.
Im wanting something that can grow up with my fire eel. Right now he has a 75 gallon setup all to himself. Obviously he is going to need a pretty large tank sooner or later, but i also dont want something that is going to be really big or agressive. So i guess im looking for a mid sized catfish that stays under or around 2 feet long. I really like the TSN and RTC but both get bigger than id like to deal with, although they are awesome fish.
Preferably with a similar growth rate to the eel or slower.
Ive been looking at ghost knifes too, can they live with catfish or does the knife being a weakly electric fish bother the cats?
Also, ive been looking at some Synodontis, will they shoal or are they better off alone? Or is that more species specific?
